If you’ve volunteered, don’t forget to record your experience so your achievements can be recognised. You can earn:
- a Certificate of Achievement – awarded to all student volunteers
- points towards the Westminster Award
- the chance to nominate yourself for Student Volunteer of the Year

Voluntary work
You can also take on voluntary work – a more formal, contract-based role with a charity.
These roles often have fixed hours and set responsibilities, and may offer more training and support than regular volunteering. They also require a greater level of commitment.
